Praana has six ingredients: Fennel (Saunf), Ginger, Heeng (Asafoetida), Peppermint, Castor Oil, and Fractionated Coconut Oil as the base.
Heeng (Asafoetida) — relaxes the muscles of the gut, releasing trapped gas and reducing bloating. The same reason a pinch of heeng goes into dal. A published clinical trial confirmed it significantly improves bloating, fullness and digestion.
Fennel (Saunf) — reduces intestinal spasm and helps gas move out of the digestive tract. The reason saunf is served after meals at every Indian restaurant. Endorsed by Germany's Commission E for digestive complaints.
Ginger — one of the most studied natural digestive aids. Speeds up stomach emptying, reduces nausea and soothes gut inflammation. Used in Ayurveda for thousands of years specifically for digestive issues.
Peppermint — relaxes the smooth muscles of the intestine, reducing cramping and discomfort. Multiple clinical studies confirm it helps with bloating and irritable bowel symptoms.
Castor Oil — gently stimulates the intestinal wall to move things along. Listed in the British Pharmacopoeia as a recognised treatment for constipation.
